Colon cancer (also called colorectal cancer) is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death in men and women combined in the United States. On average, the lifetime risk of developing Colon Cancer is 1 in 20. Treatment is most effective when colon cancer is found in its early stages with colonoscopy screenings.
