Endometrial cancer is a type of uterine cancer and is the most common cancer of the female reproductive organs. It is estimated that over 52,000 new cases of endometrial cancer and uterine sarcomas are diagnosed each year. While the average chance of a woman developing this cancer in her lifetime is 1 in 37, there are over 600,000 women who have survived it.
